2 Sisters Food Group’s Carlisle site, Cavaghan and Gray, is set to transform its HR division as

it continues in its trajectory to create a ‘world-class’ business through investment at its UK

facilities.

2 Sisters is the UK’s largest food manufacturer, employing over 13,500 people nationwide

producing own label products for some of the country’s leading supermarket brands. The

change and additions to its People function will ensure that it can sustainably meet the

needs of its Carlisle based workforce, as well as to continue building relationships with local

schools, colleges, and community organisations.

Sara McLean, Senior HR Business Partner, said: “Cavaghan and Gray has been part of the

region’s manufacturing landscape for 110 years. Our success is purely down to our people,

and we’re thankful to have such a great team committed to producing high quality meals

which our customers really love.

“As you can imagine, things have moved on quite a bit over the last century! We now

produce over 150 different meals for our customers powered by state-of-the-art technology

and equipment. Likewise, we want to ensure that our People team is just as advanced and is

positioned to help us innovate, develop, and grow.”

2 Sisters Food Group is currently recruiting:

HR Business Partner, full-time, £42k (hybrid available)

Learning & Development Manager, full-time, £47k

Comms & Engagement Officer, full-time, £30k (hybrid available)

2SFG has partnered with the region’s leading specialist and HR & People agency, Realise HR.

Martin Norris, Head of Recruitment, said: “This is an exciting time for 2SFG as it continues to

increase capability within its HR function. I’m particularly pleased to see investment into

Comms and Engagement, as the team continue to strengthen links with the local

community and take advantage of new digital platforms to connect with colleagues and

stakeholders alike."
