Golden chance for people in Cumbria to upskill in emerging Digital technologies

3D printing, 3D CAD and associated digital manufacturing skills are the future and Cumbrian businesses and individuals are being given a golden chance to get ahead of the game - but you need to act now.

 

The Skills Bootcamps, which are subsidised by the Department for Education are available as part of a pilot programme to help upskill the Cumbrian population in digital emerging technologies.

 

Experts in 3D printing, 3D CAD, Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing, 3D 360 are rolling out Cumbria Skills Bootcamps from December 2022 – March 2023 to ensure businesses and individuals across the county don’t miss out on an opportunity to gain skills in a discipline where job opportunities are growing fast.

NEW NSPCC FUNDRAISING EVENT

 Submitted by Steve Johnston 23rd Sept 2022 A MAJOR fundraising event has been unveiled to raise vital funds for Cumbria’s NSPCC charity. The new Cumbria Fair will take place over two days on October 11-12 at The Garden At Eden, near Carlisle. Its pop-up stalls will showcase many independent Cumbrian producers plus specialist goods from all over the country. Cumbria Fair aims to build on the success of the previous Carlisle NSPCC Christmas Fair which raised many thousands of pounds for the children’s charity. The annual event had to be cancelled because of the Covid outbreak.
