What do I love about Cumbria... Where do I start... 😂 

I think first and foremost, its my home county, I was born here and I've lived all around the county (20 house moves 🤣) for my whole life. I love the scenery, the adventures available, and the fact I can call it home 🏡

Last year’s course started at The Sheepmount Athletics Stadium in Carlisle and took competitors out through the city centre towards Wetheral before turning back through Scotby village and Rickerby Park before a grandstand finish back at the Sheepmount Athletics Stadium.   However, race team organisers ‘Better’ said that it was going to be a different route this year which will be published shortly.   So, whether it’s your first time tackling the half, or you’re a seasoned veteran - we can't wait to see you on the start line and the ‘Team Calvert’ Lake District Calvert Trust needs your help? NEW NSPCC FUNDRAISING EVENT

 Submitted by Steve Johnston 23rd Sept 2022 A MAJOR fundraising event has been unveiled to raise vital funds for Cumbria’s NSPCC charity. The new Cumbria Fair will take place over two days on October 11-12 at The Garden At Eden, near Carlisle. Its pop-up stalls will showcase many independent Cumbrian producers plus specialist goods from all over the country. Cumbria Fair aims to build on the success of the previous Carlisle NSPCC Christmas Fair which raised many thousands of pounds for the children’s charity. The annual event had to be cancelled because of the Covid outbreak. Juliet Westoll,  Cumbria Fair committee chair, said: “This brand new fair promises to be a truly wonderful event with many exciting pop-up shops from all over the country bought together for just two days, all under one fabulous roof. “It is a chance to have a great day out with lovely food and drink and maybe even get your Christmas shopping done early. “And behind this brand new event there’s a ser...

Introducing the Cumbrian Business Analysis Network!
